Proof of immunization is an important step to completing the enrollment process.
For all new students attending Georgia State for the first time, the immunization requirements have been revised by the Board of Regents to include MMR, Tetanus/Diphtheria, Varicella and Hepatitis B (in addition to the Meningitis Law affecting students who reside in University Housing). For more information, see the Georgia State University Student Health Clinic.
Students will still be able to register for classes at Incept even if immunization documentation has not been received by the Health Clinic.
Unless immunization records are submitted to the Student Health Clinic (not to the Admissions Office) before the first day of classes, holds will be placed on student accounts to prevent registration beginning the day after the end of late registration, until the requirements are satisfied. For questions, please contact the immunization office at 404-413-1930, or visit the Student Health Clinic for a blank certificate of immunization.
